Over the years, we developed several software products. Depending on the role within your organization or during installation, you can choose from configuration and/or user software, available as: PC application, embedded in the controller's web server, or in the cloud.
AdminTool V4 is a free, standalone PC software application that enables advanced configuration of DAS controllers.
AdminTool V4 is supplied on a copy-protected USB dongle or can be downloaded via a link provided by DAS.
All DAS desktop printers and Scan&Go BASIC scanner and kiosk printer controllers.
Via USB cable (USB A for printers, USB-C for scanners from version V4).
DAS distributors, installers, maintenance companies, and technical operators.
AdminTool V5 is a web application that runs on the built-in web server of CU5 controllers. It allows you to configure the controllers for managing both permanent and temporary users. The configuration file of a CU5 can be updated via a LAN connection or a direct connection between your computer and the controller.
AdminTool V5 is compatible with all controllers that are equipped with the integrated CU5 firmware, such as entry and exit controllers, pedestrian columns, payment columns, as well as the tablet validator and the manual cash register.
Each user is granted access rights based on their role within the organization, which are determined by password level. For example, the distributor or installer can specify for which sites their own technicians may only perform configuration updates, while the safety officer of the end customer can only add or remove regular users.
AdminTool V5 is accessible via LAN with web browsers. Access via the internet is possible through ProConnect.
Below you will find a non-exhaustive list of features and configuration updates that are possible with AdminTool V5:
DAS ProConnect is a web-based software solution, hosted in the cloud, that enables you to communicate bidirectionally with any type of DAS controller that is connected to the internet and equipped with CU5 firmware via a web browser.
ProConnect is compatible with Scan&Go PRO entry and exit columns, pedestrian columns, payment columns, as well as the tablet validator and manual cash register of both Scan&Go PRO and BASIC.
With Met ProConnect, one or more users can effectively manage one or more DAS sites with a single account license. As a result, the distributor, installer, and end customer only have visibility and remote control over the DAS installations they each manage.
Each user is granted access rights based on their role within the organization, which are determined by the password level. For example, the distributor or installer can determine for which sites their own technicians are allowed to perform configuration updates, while the maintenance contractor is only allowed to send commands, and the safety officer of the end customer can only generate reports. This provides a clear overview of all sites and controllers for which each user is responsible.
The logical access rights can be refined for each password, per site and per controller, up to three levels: 1) View/Monitor/Report, 2) Control, and 3) Configure. For each user, a customized combination of these levels can be set, such as: only 1, 1 + 3, etc.
DAS processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Act of July 30, 2018 regarding the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.
ProUsers is a copy-protected, web-based desktop software, available both as a standalone application and in a client/server setup, accessible via web browsers. It allows you to manage both regular users and two types of temporary users: invited/scheduled visitors (visitors who receive a QR code via email in advance) and spontaneous visitors (visitors who unexpectedly present themselves at the entrance).
With Met ProUsers you can create up to three different types of identifiers (such as QR tickets, QR emails, and RFID cards) for all these users, with specific access rules for specific controllers, without ever being connected to the respective controllers, neither during the creation process of the identifiers nor during the later use of the identifiers.
Although ProUsers can be installed as a standalone or client/server application, ProUsers never performs online updates (i.e., updates via a data network) to grant or update access rules for users. Instead, ProUsers uses offline updates, where access rights are directly stored in the user's identifier (such as RFID cards or QR codes) or uploaded to the controller using a USB update stick (for QR codes, RFID cards, and ANPR).
The Scan&Go PRO CU5v2 controller comes standard with a built-in microphone and embedded VOIP intercom software. The speaker is integrated into the scanner module or in a separate module in the case of a printer kiosk.
The VOIP intercom is an optional commercial feature that can be activated at any time using the configuration software AdminTool V5, either for a free trial period of 30 days or permanently by entering an optional activation code.
We offer three flexible implementation options for the VOIP intercom functionality:
The CU5v2 supports the DTMF protocol (Dual-tone multi-frequency), allowing the call recipient to open a barrier during the conversation using a specific phone key press.
Your cash register system or reservation software can generate barcodes or QR codes on your receipts or order confirmations and you want to make these compatible with your entry and/or exit scanner?
With the optional CSC feature, DAS scanners can be configured to recognize and validate these 1D/2D codes. This means you no longer have to print or email separate entry or exit tickets.
CSC is a configurable feature (available via AdminTool V4 and V5) that allows a DAS scanner to interpret the code structure of third-party systems. DAS scanners can then autonomously determine the validity of scanned 1D/2D codes and decide whether to grant access, all without requiring network communication. This enables the installation and configuration of DAS systems in record time.
This feature is ideal for retail businesses that already use POS or online reservation systems, including retailers, freelancers (doctors, notaries, lawyers, etc.), self-scan areas in supermarkets, e-commerce platforms, and more.
The legislation requires that parkers always have the option to request a payment receipt. However, parking managers try to avoid the costs and operational challenges associated with physical printers and paper receipts. e-Receipt addresses both concerns by eliminating the need for kiosk printers and physical tickets, making them redundant.
e-Receipt is an optional feature that generates and displays a QR code on the DAS payment terminal screen after each successful transaction. The parking customer can easily scan this QR code with their smartphone, after which a digital receipt is automatically and instantly downloaded directly to that same smartphone. This process happens immediately and without the parker needing to create an account or provide an email address.
By implementing e-Receipt, parking managers can significantly reduce both initial and ongoing costs. These include one-time expenses such as the purchase and installation of kiosk printers, operational costs related to printer maintenance and paper replacement, and recurring costs for paper supplies.
Additionally, the absence of paper-related issues (such as paper shortages causing delays) streamlines operations. This ticketless payment station concept also demonstrates a strong commitment to ecological sustainability. For parking customers, e-Receipt offers immediate access to a digital receipt, which can be quickly and easily stored and forwarded to, for example, an accounting platform.
Would you like to print exit QR codes on your receipts so that your customers can leave the parking lot by scanning their receipt and deter abusers?
By integrating our SDK into their systems, whether it is POS systems, online booking platforms (hotels, event organizers, etc.), or e-commerce sites, our customers can seamlessly decode our 2D codes and generate receipts or order confirmations embedded with our unique QR codes, eliminating the need for custom software development.
The DAS QR codes generated via our SDK will be accepted by our scanners without any form of data communication. The entry and exit columns can therefore operate in standalone mode and should never communicate through a data network.
An SDK (Software Development Kit) is a comprehensive set of tools designed to facilitate smooth integration between our products and external systems. Our SDK includes a 32-bit DLL (Dynamic Link Library), a C header file, a LIB file, and sample source code in "C", Visual Basic, and Java. Additional sample code in other programming languages is available upon request to meet your development requirements.
For more information about our SDK, including data types and function definitions, arguments and return values for creating and decoding DAS codes, or guidance on calling the SDK from multiple programming languages, you can contact your DAS provider.
Do you have software and a database that allows you to create/manage customers and/or staff members, and do you want these individuals to automatically gain access to your parking area or buildings, without having to manually input them into the DAS system and without custom software development?
Configure your software to generate a CSV file at regular intervals and activate the optional FTP upload function of the relevant DAS controllers. With each update of the CSV file, the whitelist and blacklist (along with associated access rights) of your DAS controllers will be automatically and error-free updated as well.
