Scan&Go Basic is our entry level product range for preventing unwanted users on small to mid-sized car parks and buildings.
The scanner is mounted in a robust aluminum housing. It autonomously interprets the ticket validity that is included in the 2D code and then decides whether or not to grant access.
The factory-programmed push buttons generate thermal barcode tickets or cards with limited time validity:
Install this optional software on PC and connect your S&G Basic Desktop Printer to it.
In-house manufactured aluminum columns, used for cars, pedestrians and trucks. Widths 100mm and 200mm. Heights: 1180, 1680 and 2360mm. Powder-coated in RAL 7016. Other colours are optional.
Mount this robust, in-house manufactured aluminum housing on a third party column, a wall, a full-height turnstile, etc…
…. or mount the horizontal variant on a desktop, a tripod turnstile, etc….
Traditional access control often needs a wired or wireless network. This implicates costly disadvantages as such solutions require cabling works, software and/or wireless communication devices.
With Scan&Go you by default do not need any data network. Only electrical power. With this you avoid all the disadvantages of a wired or wireless solution mentioned above.
The ticket validity is encoded in the 2D code. As a result it is the 2D code that determines the duration and frequency of use of a ticket or a card, without any data communication.
As Scan&Go stores the ticket validity in the barcode, you can determine how long and how often a ticket or card can be used. This means that you have control over when your visitors leave your site which is not possible with for instance tokens.
Scan&Go tickets have a lower cost than cards and a negligible cost when compared to tokens (that moreover regularly get lost). Our tickets and cards therefore do not need to be recovered which makes Scan&Go the ideal solution for managing temporary users like visitors, customers, suppliers….
Scan&Go is a contactless solution. Scanning a barcode therefore takes less time than inserting a token or RFID card. As a result your physical access (automatic barrier, turnstile, gate …) starts the opening cycle earlier than with inserted tokens or RFID cards. As a result your exit barrier processes a larger number of cars whilst lowing the risk of traffic jam and thus avoiding all negative implications that go along with it.
The tokens and RFID cards of your temporary users must be swallowed at the exit column when they leave your site. The exit column therefore regularly needs to be emptied if you do not want to get in trouble. Scan&Go reads barcode tickets and cards up to a distance of 20 cm without swalling them. Once installed you basically should not worry about your access installation anymore.
Tokens need to be inserted in a slot. A token acceptor is therefore not contactless and as a result you too often need to open your car door as you only have an arm length for insertion. Scan&Go Basic however scans barcodes up to a comfortable distance of 20 cm so you can easily scan your ticket and then drive out without having to open your car door.
